Edward Everett Horton was a much in demand American stage, screen, radio, and television character actor, who specialized in comedic characters (frequently nervous, worried, or anxious) and the double take. He is particularly well remembered for his roles in classic Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers musicals of the 1930s.
