Marvel Taps ‘Captain Marvel’ Writer for Potential ‘The Vision and Scarlet Witch’ Series for Disney+
One of the potential TV series that Marvel Studios is developing for Disney’s upcoming streaming service has landed a writer, and its from another Marvel Studios property.Jac Schaeffer, one of the writers for “Captain Marvel” has been brought on board to write and executive produce the pilot for the series based on Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, which will also feature Paul Bettany’s Vision, an individual with knowledge tells TheWrap.“The Vision and Scarlet Witch” is one of a few series that Marvel Studios has in various stages of development for Disney’s forthcoming streaming service, which will launch towards the end of this year. Disney CEO Bob Iger has only confirmed one of them, based around Tom Hiddelston’s Loki, but another series starring Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) is being considered as well. ...
