From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Roscoe Karns (September 7, 1891 – February 6, 1970) was an American actor. He appeared in nearly 150 films between 1915 and 1964. He played the title role in the popular DuMont Television Network series Rocky King, Inside Detective from 1950 to 1954. His son, character actor Todd Karns, also appeared in the series. He was born in San Bernardino, California and died in Los Angeles, California.
