Per Elisa: An Italian Crime Story (2023)
Reconstruction of one of the most shocking crime news events in recent decades: the murders of Elisa Claps and Heather Barnett by Danilo Restivo. The story begins on 12 September 1993 and takes place over a period of about twenty years between Potenza and the English coast of Bournemouth.

Episode 1 - Episode 1
Release Date: 2023-10-24Potenza, September 12th 1993, Elisa Claps leaves for mass at Santissima Trinità church, where she meets up with Danilo Restivo. From that moment she disappears.

Release Date: 2023-10-24Danilo Restivo returns home late, distraught, with a wound on his hand, however the police does not have sufficient evidence to detain him. His father sends him to Naples.

Release Date: 2023-10-31Danilo is arrested and tried for false statements, but the absence of Elisa’s body does not allow to bring the accusations forward. The case is ultimately closed.

Release Date: 2023-10-31The Claps case is transferred to the public prosecutor in Salerno. Gildo marries Irene. The two create Penelope, a foundation that supports the families of missing people.

Release Date: 2023-11-07Danilo Restivo relocates to England and marries Fiamma. In 2002, their neighbour, Heather Barnett, is found dead in her home by her children.
