Tombstone Territory (1957)
Tombstone Territory is an American Western series starring Pat Conway and Richard Eastham. The series' first two seasons aired on ABC from 1957 to 1959. The third and final season aired in syndication from 1959 until 1960.

Episode 1 - Red Terror of Tombstone
Release Date: 1959-10-09July 8, 1882 - R.C. (Pop) Tuttle married Grace, a much younger woman, in Tombstone but encouraged everyone to move to Benson. Pop Tuttle wants Benson to be the county seat because, unlike Tombstone, they have plenty of water. Meanwhile, some of the citizens of Tombstone realize they must raise money to purchase a steam pump because a year earlier, in 1881, a fire almost wiped out all of Tombstone. Then in July, 1882, Tombstone does suffer its second worst fire.

Episode 2 - To the Last Man
Release Date: 1959-10-16With a long standing feud between the Caswells and the Harpers, and Jeff Harper arriving in Tombstone after 5 years in jail, Sam Caswell hires a gunfighter Chuck Ashley to deal with him. Harper's pride makes him want to face up to Ashley.

Episode 3 - The Hidden Gunman
Release Date: 1959-10-23Hollister finds Anita Torison with stolen jewelry, and escorts her on a warrant to Tucson on the stagecoach. An incident at a way station en route raises his suspicions, and he has to find which passenger is her accomplice Boone Cahill.

Episode 4 - The Writer
Release Date: 1959-10-30October 16, 1882 - President Chester Arthur has sent Ferguson from Washington, D.C. to investigate crime in Tombstone. Elizabeth Blythe, a newspaper reporter from New York, has come with him. Ed Chandler and his gang kidnap both of them to try to force Clay to release Ed's brother, Joe, from jail. Ferguson and Blythe learn that "wherever there's sudden wealth, there's sudden death". "There's always crime and lawlessness in a boom town.

Episode 5 - Payroll Robbery
Release Date: 1959-11-06May 31, 1885 - Jake Conroy arrives in Tombstone after having learned to become an expert wheelwright in Yuma Prison. Jake's partner, Red River Tom aka Hobey Jones, guns down the town wheelwright so Jake can take the job. Then together they plan a payroll robbery.

Episode 6 - The Horse Thief
Release Date: 1959-11-13April 27, 1880 - Lawyer Fred Griffin wants to take over the Indian land so he can then sell it to the railroad, so he hires Jess Buckhorn to stir up Indian trouble. When Buckhorn fails to kill Little Hawk, a horse thief, before he rides into Tombstone, Griffin then tries to stir up lynch talk. To save Little Hawk from a lynch mob, Clay and his two deputies take him to Father Miguel at the mission. Little Hawk asks Father Miguel for sanctuary and claims he was only moving the six horses to better pasture. However, to make his escape, Little Hawk shoots Dexter, one of Clay's deputies, and knocks out Father Miguel.

Episode 7 - The Legend
Release Date: 1959-11-20April 12, 1882 - Ambitious writer, Jay Pelf, is the leader of an outlaw gang including Sam Crane and his younger brother, Kirby. Jay Pelf wants to make Clay the next national hero - a legend.

Episode 8 - Premature Obituary
Release Date: 1959-11-27May 12, 1882 - Ron Browning tries to pay Harris to print his obituary before he has died. Then he tries to commit suicide because he doesn't want to meet his fiance who's coming in on the stage the next day. He is ashamed that he's not been a financial success. Harris stops Ron from committing suicide, and Clay puts Ron in jail overnight for his own protection. However, Ike Cobb breaks jail and forces Ron to go with him.

Episode 9 - Dangerous Romance
Release Date: 1959-12-04September 10, 1882 - The three Thomas brothers are upset when drifter Paul Hayden, who's on probation and working for Harris, starts dating their older sister, Karen.

Episode 10 - Self-Defense
Release Date: 1959-12-11April 12, 1884 - Clay killed Wally Anson in self-defense, so Wally's father, Flint Anson, has offered $10,000 to the first person or persons bringing him proof of Clay's death.

Release Date: 1959-12-18A horseshoe print is Hollister's only clue to robbery-murder.

Release Date: 1959-12-25Clay Hollister expects a jail break but not the one that occurs.

Episode 13 - Death Writes a Headline
Release Date: 1960-01-01A mine collapse kills yet another man, but Anson Gurney sends his workers back inside to dig another shaft. When Claibourne uses the Epitaph to try to improve safety at the mines, Gurney has plans of his own to ruin him and his business.

Episode 14 - The Witness
Release Date: 1960-01-08Hiding in a stable, Adam Kirby witnesses the murder of a man who wanted a refund after buying stolen cattle. Hollister takes Kirby to Charleston to identify the killer, but he is too afraid to say anything, until the truth finally emerges.

Episode 15 - The Capture
Release Date: 1960-01-15Kyle Dodge is escorted by a Marshall to Yuma prison. Both arrive in Tombstone wounded from ambush. Hollister is suspicious that a number of strangers in town may be part of Dodge's gang and has to use his wits to keep Dodge in custody.

Episode 16 - A Funeral for Chalky
Release Date: 1960-01-22After a gang robs the saloon, the leader kills two of his men and flees Tombstone. A fake headline in the Epitaph stating one man is recovering leads to Claibourne kidnapped as hostage for the outlaw's release, but Hollister is too smart.

Release Date: 1960-01-29Claibourne's old friend never makes it to Tombstone: he's killed on the way

Episode 18 - The Bride
Release Date: 1960-02-05June 3, 1882 - Bert Magraw and his new wife, Jeannie, arrive in Tombstone on the stage from Tucson. In reality, Bert is her third husband, and she is still married to Vince Sanders, who tries to kill both Bert and Clay.

Episode 19 - Female Killer
Release Date: 1960-02-12July 8, 1889 - Clay is taking Renee Carter to serve a term of 18 months in Yuma Prison, but he suspects her boyfriend, Frank Fallon, is really guilty.

Episode 20 - The Lady Lawyer
Release Date: 1960-02-19Sheriff Clay Hollister sends for a woman lawyer to settle a dispute between a mine owner and a local businessman. Clay is unaware that one of the men has been stealing gold and hording it in blocks of ice.

Release Date: 1960-02-26June 3, 1884 - Clay gets Tulsa Jack to help him prove that popular, generous Lily Murdock is behind the deaths of the miners she grubstaked.

Release Date: 1960-03-04November 9, 1883 - Marshal Vern Fawcett resigns after killing one of the Holcomb Brothers and returns to Tombstone to be with his family and to marry his girlfriend.

Release Date: 1960-03-11December 9, 1884 - Nurse Mary Rice takes care of Eddie Casper, a young gunman who attacked Clay and was sorely wounded by him.

Episode 24 - Coded Newspaper
Release Date: 1960-03-18John Whittaker places ads with hidden codes in the Epitaph, telling his gang members where and when to rob the Argus mine shipments.

Episode 25 - Memory
Release Date: 1960-03-25October 9, 1882 - A former carnival act, Liz Dolthan with a phenomenal memory and her partner, Packard, turn to safecracking. They both ask the Wells Fargo agent to put their valuables in his safe overnight - her jewels and his $1,000. She memorizes the combination to the safe as the agent turns the tumbler. That night, she robs the safe. Clay becomes suspicious of her when she describes her stolen jewelry is such incredible detail, including the number of pearls and the serial number on the clasp.

Release Date: 1960-04-01A man schemes to avenge the death of his outlaw father. His target: Hollister.

Episode 27 - The Hostage
Release Date: 1960-04-08November 7, 1881 - Murderer Sam Edwards has been sentenced to hang, but his brother, John, kidnaps Harris and takes him hostage in order to save Sam from the gallows.

Episode 28 - The Governor
Release Date: 1960-04-15Outlaw chief Frank Banta’s gang kidnaps the territorial governor in order to save the life of his brother, who is scheduled to hang.

Episode 29 - The Kidnapping
Release Date: 1960-04-22May 19, 1882 - The Tombstone bank is robbed and a handyman is killed. The three thieves give the money to Dan Jensen for safekeeping. Dan's brother, Ben, is the leader of the gang. Hope (Mrs. Dan) Jensen returns the money to Clay, who is then held hostage for the stolen bank money.

Episode 30 - Girl from Philadelphia
Release Date: 1960-04-29January 20, 1881 - Belle Reed, Clay's former girlfriend, is now running away from her more recent boyfriend, Ben Quaid. She wants to return east with her sister, Gwen. However, before Gwen arrives, Ben kills Belle and flees to Mexico. Gwen impersonates Belle and follows Ben to Mexico to avenge the murder of her sister.

Episode 31 - The Fortune
Release Date: 1960-05-06On the road outside Tombstone, Clay encounters three escaped criminals who have discovered a fortune in silver. The plan to kill the sheriff is their secret.

Episode 32 - The Innocent Man
Release Date: 1960-05-13October 17, 1884 - Clay and Harris join Sheriff Eli Parsons and Deputy McQueen in the pursuit of three escaped convicts. Deputy McQueen actually wants to gun down all three of them because one of them, Tom Holden, is innocent. Deputy McQueen had framed him for the Wells Fargo job.

Episode 33 - The Siesta Killer
Release Date: 1960-05-20August 16, 1881 - Tombstone is suffering from a terrible heat wave for the tenth straight day. In hotel lobbies, Mrs. Curtis pretends to faint and drops her purse and/or handkerchief. When the hotel clerks bend down to retrieve her possessions, she murders them and robs the hotel cash drawer. In Tombstone, she has killed both Mark Jenkins in the American Hotel and Bates in the Occidental Hotel. Clay assumes he is looking for a man at least six feet tall since the bullets entered each man at a downward slant. However, he does notice a heavy scent near each victim. Meanwhile, Curtis' partner, Douglas Metcalf, an insurance investigator, has arrived in Tombstone. Clay notices the same lavender scent on him as well as on Mrs. Curtis.

Episode 34 - The Return of Kansas Joe
Release Date: 1960-05-27October 20, 1883 - Territorial Governor Armstrong arrives in Tombstone just ahead of Kansas Joe Barton, who has been released from Yuma Prison and has sworn to kill him. However, Lt. Governor Owens is actually the man who's trying to assassinate the Governor. Clay realizes that Kansas Joe Barton could not have written the threatening note to the Governor because he knows that Kansas Joe Barton cannot read or write.

Episode 35 - Betrayal
Release Date: 1960-06-03Sheriff Hollister captures Lafe Jackson while trying to rendezvous with his gang to divide the loot from a robbery. Jackson and Hollister soon find themselves fighting at each other’s side when the gang decides to kill both men.

Release Date: 1960-06-10Geronimo's willing to negotiate a treaty but a member of his tribe isn't.

Episode 37 - The Outlaw
Release Date: 1960-06-17Claibourne follows up a report that a notorious outlaw is living in Tombstone as a respected citizen. Sheriff Hollister tries to find the man before Claibourne, and both find themselves in grave danger when they get the answer to the mystery.

Episode 39 - Crime Epidemic
Release Date: 1960-07-01June 8, 1883 - Horn and Hugh Burnett have stolen $8,000 from the Tombstone bank. They give $3,000 to Will Gunther in exchange for food and hiding them in the lower level of his barn. Will fears that his wife, Viola, will leave him for Hugh Burnett, so he kills Hugh. However, Viola leaves her husband, Will, to join Horn Burnett.
