Episode 1 - Catching

Luke is struggling to find a sitter for his daughter while he has an interview for a job. Michelle tries to help, but is shocked by Luke's desperate behavior. Simon and Will have the perfect date. However, is Will too good to be true?

Episode 2 - Happy Ending

A patient of Daniels wants to die at home, rather than at hospital, so Cherry goes to visit him. He doesn't want his family there, which Cherry finds hard to understand. Daniel also tries to find out from Julia and Heston what's happening with the practice, now that they are a partner down. Smithy has a little surprise for Ruth, he's got a baby from somewhere. He thinks it's theirs, but Ruth is totally shocked. Has Smithy lost his marbles again?

Episode 3 - One More Scrum

A former rugby player, whose now in a wheelchair, gets into a fight when drunk with mates at a lap dancing club. He injures himself. His put upon wife gets Heston involved. His wife, it seems, is keeping a secret: She's a lap dancer. There're more tap dancing rehearsals, Ruth is really good, though her rehearsal is interrupted when Smithy turns up. He's been tap dancing in the snow, with no shoes on.

Episode 4 - Mirror

Rob struggles to work out the cause of a car accident when the only witness seems like a timewaster, but Jimmi digs deeper and finds the witness has a rare condition which could save the driver's life. Ruth confronts Smithy about his recent behaviour, and Simon fears Will is going off him.

Episode 5 - Home to Roost

As Smithy's erratic behaviour pushes Ruth to the edge, she has to struggle with a big decision; does she call for help or let Smithy finally be free? Cherry's cynicism provokes Simon to give Will an ultimatum.

Episode 6 - Neighbourhood Watch

Zara and Daniel argue over the well-being of a meddling OAP, whose stress levels rise as he tries to incriminate his drug-dealing neighbour. Henry tries to help Ruth come to terms with Smithy's sectioning, but Ruth has some big questions about her future.

Episode 7 - Mystery Tour

Michelle intervenes when the parents of a missing teenager are led on a mystery tour around Letherbridge. Simon has the day from hell, while Julia takes action against Daniel and Zara.

Episode 8 - Love Me, Hate Me

Charlie and Heston go for a late night Balti, and end up causing some racially aggravated fuss. Jimmi goes to a late night home visit. The woman and her daughter are both fans of his from his radio show, which brings back memories of his recent kidnapping by his 'number one fan'.

Episode 9 - Synergy

Daniel and Zara are on their very worst behaviour at a team building course. Karen makes a depressing financial realisation, while Simon's birthday party doesn't go to plan.

Episode 10 - Two's Company

It's the second day of Zara and Daniel's Team Building course, and there's a new leader, Julian having taken the day off for 'personal time'. Zara's in a mood over Daniel's night time exploits with Daisy. The day ends with it all getting a bit serious. Heston meets the IT guy, who turns out to be sexy Susan. He gets drawn in to her personal activities. Simon is worried about Will's strange behavior last night, when he disappeared from his birthday party.

Episode 11 - Digging for Gold

A friend of Imogen's gets more than she bargained for when she makes a play for a rich elderly man. Karen is shocked to find out what everyone else earns, and Julia is put in a difficult position regarding the partnership.

Episode 12 - Best Laid Plans

Ruth's day is turned upside town by a tearaway visitor to the Mill. Simon and Will spend a romantic day together while Zara's father is released from prison.

Episode 13 - Guilty

An attractive female patient of Daniel's has been telling her mate all about their night of passion. It seems she's besotted with him, and turn's up at the Mill, but is she telling the truth? Simon discovers that Will is married with a kid. Karen and Rob argue about money.

Episode 14 - Protection

Cherry unpicks the secrets and underhand tricks of a teenage romance. Life reunited with her father is a huge disappointment for Zara.

Episode 15 - Careless Whisper

The elderly mother of a Downs Syndrome girl is about to go on a trip to America, only she's a bit poorly and has to get the doctor out. She's been not-so-secretly earning extra money as a phone sex worker, so her daughter takes up the mantle. Julia is a bit shocked. Zara takes her dad to a local Over 50's Community Coffee Morning, though she can't wait to get out, it reminds her of 'Cocoon'. Her dad wants to play table tennis though. Poor Zara. Simon turns to Ruth to talk about his break-up.

Episode 16 - Monday, Monday

Will has to play judge, jury and executioner to a liar. And Simon struggles to cope with Will's absence in his life.

Episode 17 - All The Right Moves

A romantic tryst and a massive hairy metalhead ensure that Jack's first day in halls does not go quite to plan. And has romance really left Simon's life?

Episode 18 - The False Heart

A troublesome young actor is having terrible nightmares and heart trouble. Heston helps him out. Karen is on industrial work-to-rule, which causes lots of bother. It's all back on with Simon and Will, but Simon doesn't want Cherry to know. Ruth becomes his partner-in-crime to stop her from knowing.

Episode 19 - Idle Hands

A vagrant is caught by Rob, just after he claims that he killed a girl by touching her with his bare hand. She was just involved in a car accident though. Jimmi gets involved. Will he be his next 'victim'. Zara's father continues to be a bit down-in-the-dumps. He burns his hand, so Cherry goes around to look at it. They have some ironing fun and she stops for dinner, much to Zara's annoyance. Heston gives Karen an envelope with some money in it, to hopefully stop her work-to-rule. Unfortunately he's taken it from the biscuit fund.

Episode 20 - Baby Love

It's snowing again in Letherbridge, and Michelle has had her tyre slashed. Luckily a neighbor is there to help. He is a big Mowtown fan and has a bow tie given to him by Smokey Robinson in 1965. He's living in the past, and secretly fancies her. Imagine her surprise when he tries to kiss her at the local tea dance. Zara drags her dad to a posh restaurant, but it all ends in tears. He wants to move into a place of his own. Ruth has to find someone else to lead the tap dance troupe, as Charlie has gout again. She targets Jimmi.

Episode 21 - Like Mother Like Daughter

Charlie helps a mother and daughter after they discover they are both dating the same man. Zara has an emotional turn when helping her dad move into his new sheltered accommodation. She thinks it's poky and "you can't even open the windows". Jack tries to cheer her up. Julia starts hunting down the missing petty cash, so many biscuits just seems wrong.

Episode 22 - An Officer and a Gentleman

Rob catches an incompetent colleague in an amorous embrace with Susie, whilst both at work. What will he do? Immie helps a male friend when he sees the girl he's supposed to marry out with another man.

Episode 23 - All Our Yesterdays

Cherry goes and sees a couple, the wife is struggling with memory loss. She doesn't remember the big crash. Simon has it out again with Will. He wants him to leave his wife. Charlie sees them hug, and has a go at them for being 'abnormal'. Jimmi tries to sort out the Karen problem.

Episode 24 - The Power Of Speech

Heston's rhetoric proves invaluable in a matter of life and death for an eccentric family. A surprise visitor at the Mill makes Simon question his future with Will. Will Zara and Daniel be able to secure the money he needs for the partnership?

Episode 25 - Lady Luck

Heston clashes with a charismatic traveller who claims to possess 'second sight' - when she sets up camp in the car park, Heston makes it his business to remove her.

Episode 26 - Street Life

Love is in the air for Jimmi at the police station when his methadone addict patient tries to play matchmaker, while Zara has a big shock for a despondent Daniel. Simon goes to see Will, determined to end things once and for all, but can he go through with it?

Episode 27 - Consequences

Simon is shocked when Sophie corners him at the Mill. Heston is furious when he discovers that Julia has lied to Daniel about the partnership money, but they have to formulate a plan quickly when Daniel confronts them.

Episode 28 - Sins Of A Father

Michelle helps her friend Josh confront his mother's past when his girlfriend unearths a dark family secret; will Josh be able to forgive his mother for lying to him? Will and Sophie reach a compromise about their marriage, while Heston has an idea to breathe new life into the tap dance routine.

Episode 29 - The Loneliness of the Long Distance Unicyclist

Karen discovers that she has become the unwitting star of a unicycling comedian's interactive comedy act - will she see the funny side? Simon desperately tries to ignore Will's pleas to see him - will he break? And Zara gives Daniel an idea about his future career.

Episode 30 - Pound of Flesh

When Julia discovers that a young, head-strong patient at The Mill has sold her virginity to an older man, she tries to convince her that it might not be a good idea.

Episode 31 - Burning the Candle

An offensively ageist patient causes Charlie to miss a potentially lethal condition. Can he track down the patient before it is too late? Daniel discovers pride comes before a fall, and Ruth frantically attempts to fix the costumes for the gala.

Episode 32 - The White Room

Simon attempts to save a man who takes drastic steps after his wife falls into a coma. Unbeknown to him, his wife is suffering a similar internal struggle to live. Cherry moves back in with Simon and decides to cheer him up with home cooking.

Episode 33 - The Tiptoe of Expectation

A young girl goes to Zara for help, convinced her elderly aunt is going mad. Meanwhile, a young intruder gets more than he bargained for when he breaks into the aunt's house. Daniel plucks up the courage to say sorry to Julia, and Cherry throws herself at a bemused Heston!

Episode 34 - The Last Hurrah

Rob is assaulted by a drunken 15-year-old girl and takes her into custody. The girl refuses to reveal her name, and so Rob does some investigating of his own.

Episode 35 - Heaven, I'm in Heaven

Heston suffers from foot-in-mouth disease when reviewing Cherry's style in clothing. As stage fright starts to take a hold of Ruth just one day before the gala, she desperately searches for a way out. Jack and Immie clash as they both struggle to get their work done under one roof.

Episode 36 - Shuffle, Ball, Change

It is the day of the gala, but will Ruth be able to overcome her stage fright and pull off her elaborate solo? Imogen endeavours to boost Ruth's confidence.

Episode 37 - Pass the Parcel

Michelle takes matters into her own hands when she fears that an elderly patient is being mistreated by his two sons. Charlie gets some good news, while Simon's day goes from bad to worse.

Episode 38 - Me Not I

A patient of Heston's starts to believe that he is becoming someone else. Imogen is stressed out about her art exam, while Ruth feels deflated after the gala.

Episode 39 - Domo Arigato, Super San

Cherry plays detective by uncovering a rather 'super' villain. Julia's old friend Rowly makes a splash at the Mill, and Karen comes to a big decision.

Episode 40 - Past Tense

Rob discovers a killer in Letherbridge who has a target alarmingly close to home. Julia's friendship with Rowly takes an unexpected turn, while the tension between Zara and Daniel reaches boiling point.

Episode 41 - You Will Survive

Simon finds himself tangled up with a morally ambiguous student. Daniel wants to know what's going on with Zara, while Julia gets some relationship advice.

Episode 42 - The Light Fantastic

Ruth finds herself with a sweet stalker who she discovers actually needs someone to care for him. Jimmi tries to give nervous young patient Colin the benefit of his dating experience, but is alarmed to discover that his protege could actually be stalking the object of his affections.

Episode 43 - Class Act

It's the day of Heston's soiree, but will Cherry be able to keep up the pretence? And it is crunch time for Julia and Rowly as they go on a date.

Episode 44 - A Nod and a Wink

Cherry helps a professional winker to pursue his goal to become world champion. Heston steps in to show Rowly that being flamboyant doesn't mean being alone.

Episode 45 - Ghosts

Rob has a run-in with a not-so-private eye, while Linda is shocked to see Charlie out and about, and practising medicine.

Episode 46 - Legacy

Daniel helps a dying friend realise there are things you cannot run away from. And Linda goes to the Mill to confront Charlie - but what dark secret is lurking in his past?

Episode 47 - The Trouble with Charlie

Charlie's dark past, and the reason he left his old practice, are revealed - what does Linda have over him?

Episode 48 - Daddy Un-Cool

Jack's party lifestyle has seemingly put him in seriously hot water. The ghosts of Christmas past come back to haunt Charlie - but can he keep that past under wraps?

Episode 49 - Love Thy Neighbour

When a female vicar finds herself on the receiving end of a hate campaign, Daniel steps up to unearth the culprit. Julia's catch-up chats with the gang don't go to plan, while Karen returns from her HCA course with an unusual strategy for deciding the colour of her uniform.

Episode 50 - Through a Glass Darkly

An acquaintance of Ruth's is convinced his wife's personality has been mysteriously altered, but only Ruth believes him. Can Ruth convince Simon to help?

Episode 51 - Ties That Bind

When a disgruntled patient bemoans her neglectful husband, Cherry tries to show her that the grass isn't always greener. Zara intervenes when a friend has second thoughts on his wedding day, but has she taken it too far?

Episode 52 - Who's Coming to Dinner?

Heston helps a father who takes extreme action rather than meet his in-laws for the first time. After the disaster with Jimmi, Karen doubts she will find anyone else to practise on, but is surprised by her first volunteer.

Episode 53 - Tuning In The Shine

Imogen uses an unusual method to set a stressed young couple's rocky relationship back on a smoother path. Will Julia's meddling ruin her dinner with Simon? Will Karen succeed in finding volunteers to help her practise? And Daniel's lonely night ends well when he overhears a surprising conversation.

Episode 54 - Gibberish

Julia helps a neighbour with dementia, and discovers the horrific truth about her new boyfriend. Karen shocks Rob with how far she will go to practise taking blood, while Heston makes an appointment with Michelle which could change her life, and Julia tries to make amends for her disastrous dinner with Simon.

Episode 55 - Miss Pringle Investigates

When septuagenarian Elsie believes that her neighbour in her sheltered accommodation has gone missing, she ropes in Charlie to help her investigate.

Episode 56 - Some Like it Hot

Jack's birthday barbecue arrives, and the punch is flowing. Cherry is upset when Jimmi cannot get away from the police station, but manages to drown her sorrows.

Episode 57 - Nappy Rash

When a nosey housewife accuses her neighbour of running an unlicensed nursery for children of illegal immigrants, Zara discovers that the truth is far more bizarre. An embarrassed and devastated Cherry can barely show her face at work, while Michelle is nervous on her first day at Housman.

Episode 58 - How Green is Your Home?

Ruth goes on a date with a man more concerned with world conservation than self-preservation, while Michelle relishes the challenge of working with soldiers.

Episode 59 - Visible Wounds

Medical drama series. A medal-winning hero battles with a severe head injury, while Cherry tells Simon she has blown her chances with Jimmi.

Episode 60 - Back to School

Medical drama series. Simon finds an old friend caught in the middle of an awkward power struggle between a school's deputy headmistress and a headstrong pupil.

Episode 61 - Day Zero

Karen is determined to impress on her first day as a HCA. However, undermining Cherry and accusing a patient of lying is not a great start. Michelle struggles to get Chris to admit his body is healing itself, and a phone call with his sergeant back in Afghanistan does not help matters.

Episode 62 - Not Otherwise

Medical drama series. Charlie gives a domineering war photographer a medical check-up and manages to refrain from offending her, but has he missed something vital?

Episode 63 - Army Dreamers

Chris faces his final assessments, but the stress gets too much for him. He is prescribed a trip to the pub with Michelle, who finally gets to the bottom of his strange behaviour. Meanwhile, Heston offers Immie the chance of a lifetime - but what will Rob say?

Episode 64 - Peace Love and Understanding

Julia gets caught in the middle of two warring divorce lawyers, who decide to up their game when they discover they have a husband and wife as their clients. Meanwhile, Michelle takes a stand for consumer rights and ends up at the police station.

Episode 65 - Happy Place

Simon is faced with an undertaker who keeps collapsing, and comes up with the perfect remedy after an encounter with a pug dog called Eric. Daniel wants a relationship with Zara, and forces her to go on a date with him to a bowling alley. Meanwhile Rob gets wind of Immie and Karen's plot.

Episode 66 - Small Town Hero

Ruth encounters a reluctant young hero who saved his mother from a blazing fire. However, Jimmi suspects all is not well in the family home. Daniel has a business meeting on the golf course, and is made an offer he cannot refuse.

Episode 67 - Gentle Giant

Zara becomes protective when an acquitted man is persecuted by the father of one of his supposed victims. Karen tries to mend things between Immie and Rob while Michelle has a lunch date to remember.

Episode 68 - The View From Here

Anna tries to play peacemaker when a bitter old soldier decides to make life difficult for his frightened new roommate. Simon's day goes from bad to worse when he's assaulted at the campus, while Rob tries to connect with his daughter.

Episode 69 - Finding the Words

Medical drama. Jimmi is asked for help by a monk who is tortured by events from his past. Zara decides to cheer Simon up, while Michelle treats a familiar face.

Episode 70 - Healer

When Rob catches Karen up to no good, their resultant argument pushes him towards some very "alternative" help. Meanwhile, Jack and Imogen struggle to come to terms with Gaz's injuries.

Episode 71 - The Big Picture

Michelle finds herself entangled with a dotty octogenarian who is on a mission to find her lost cat. Immie goes to see Gaz on her own, while Jack takes out his anger on Anna in an interview for the student magazine.

Episode 72 - Five Seconds

Medical drama series. A day in the life of new dad Johnny is played out in new ways as he follows relationship advice from both Heston and Charlie. But whose advice will save his rocky marriage?

Episode 73 - Daddy's Home

When her father comes home after ten years, a young Cliff Richard fan has to face up to the fantasy world she has created. Julia gets an exciting lead, while Michelle is full of admiration when her first military patient from the Housman Ward returns fully recovered and raring to get back to work.

Episode 74 - Wedded Miss

An old friend of Cherry's is getting married, but why is the best man so unhappy? Heston finds himself surrounded by buffoons, while Michelle takes stock of her life as she approaches her thirtieth birthday.

Ruth's afternoon off takes an unusual turn when she meets an old acquaintance who refuses to leave her alone. Julia is furious with Heston, while Michelle makes a life-changing decision and drops a bombshell on her mother.

Episode 76 - The Long Way Round - Part One

When a woman finds a young asylum seeker hiding in her garden, Simon is called out to help. But they are all unaware of the danger lurking nearby. The Mill team find themselves under siege by reporters, while Cherry does some detective work.

Episode 77 - The Long Way Round - Part Two

As Kim and Monica grow suspicious of their neighbour, Simon again tries to help as things go from bad to worse for Saleem. Unaware of her plans, Louis declares his feelings for Michelle, while Heston comes face-to-face with Dr Diana - but with disastrous consequences.

Episode 78 - Canute

Medical drama series. Rob and Jimmi risk their safety to try and help a man whose house is falling down around him, while Michelle says a final farewell to Letherbridge.

Episode 79 - Marry in Haste

Ruth's plans for her day off go awry when she gets involved in her neighbour's marital strife. Heston continues to prove that doctors make the worst patients, until a new nurse brightens his day. Cherry and Jimmi bond over an unusual case.

Ruth runs into an old friend of an old boyfriend while looking for her Manual Handling course. They seem to be getting on very well so he joins Ruth an Cherry for lunch. Unfortunately he seems to have a heavily pregnant wife. Fed up with his slovenly lifestyle, Jack decides to start jogging, but gets the mickey taken out of him by some other much fitter joggers. Elaine meets a handsome stranger when she gets lost a St Phil's on her way to a meeting.

Episode 179 - The Passion of Oscar Wilde

Ciaran needs a new boyfriend. When he and his friend Shona overhear Jack talking on the phone to his mom, they convince themselves that he has been dumped, and Shona convinces Ciaran that Jack is gay. Mrs Tembe thinks the Mill could do with some cosmetic changes. Jimmi goes round to talk to Karen, but gets a shock at her reaction when Rob turns up.

Episode 203 - Confessions

Immie and Belinda are at the Mill, shooting a documentary about life in the NHS. Immie though, gets all determined and seems to be so focused on the virus outbreak and the personal lives of the doctors that she misses the personal problems her friend is having, which include a very overbearing mother. Immie then totally overlooks her mother's contribution.

Episode 214 - There

Episode 219 - Dare to Bare

Karen discovers that one of Rob's oldest friends has a shocking secret. Him and his wife are having an 80's party for their wedding anniversary, though he's also wearing women's clothes. His wife thinks he's having an affair though - with Karen. An old friend from hell of Cherrys calls her for a home visit. She has a nasty scar on her face, though she carries on treating Cherry exactly how she did many years ago.

Episode 231 - A Life in the Day

Jack has his eyes opened when spending the day with Rob, and gets picked up by Andrea along the way! He's trying to write a thesis. Cherry tries everything to get Simon to stay at the Mill, but he's already announced his intention to leave to the partners. Cherry's very sad. Immie carries on stealing.
